How Community Gig works
No complicated marketplace rules. Post, answer public questions, get bids from neighbors, and choose who you want to work with.

Describe the job, yard work, car help, writing, repairs, moving, tutoring, anything local. Neighbors can ask short public questions. Your first five posts are free.
Neighbors bid
People nearby see your gig and offer their price and availability. It’s a reverse auction, they compete to win your business. Read the safety tips before you meet.
Choose & connect
Review the offers, pick the person and price that feel right, and pay a $2 connection fee to message them. Optional $3 ID checks are a photo-ID match, not a background check.

The board stays a reverse auction, anyone can bid. Community Pros are neighbors who opt in with specialties, a credit card on file, and an ID check on the same Pro path. When you post, you can request a matching Pro nearby, or open the gig to everyone.

Fair fees, still no job cut for you
Neighbors still pay 50¢ / $2 with no cut of the job. Pros pay a tiny 4% only when they get hired (min $1). No monthly Pro fee. ID verify is part of the same Pro path.
