Services ranging from construction, auto repair, computer, technology, web services, childcare and more can all be fulfilled through CommunityGig. People needing said services can post their requests to be answered and completed by people in their area looking for a full-time position, short-term engagement or just a quick Gig on the side. Both freelancing service providers and patrons are able to collect feedback on the quality of services and transaction as a whole to be reviewed by future customers.
We recognize that such a comprehensive service may sound a bit intimidating…but we assure you it is not! The following outline will give you the play-by-play needed to become a fully functioning user of CommunityGig.
1- Sign up in your community.
Keep it local and avoid Spam.
2- Update your profile
Get your info out to the community by linking to your
site or embed your logo.
3- Post a Gig
Post a Gig and let others offer their competitive rates. Like a reverse
auction, where locals compete for the lowest price!
4- Review offers
Look at feedback from bidders and ask and answer questions.
5- Choose
Pick someone for your Gig. Your choice can be made based on many
things not just price. Choose anytime! You don't have to wait till the
end or pick the lowest offer.
Community Gig is not about binding agreements but bringing communities together.
What are the costs?
Sign Up:
NOTHING, Zilch, Nada!
Join your community and browse for Gigs, bid and connect for free!
Membership:
There are a few membership options allowing Service Providers to advertise in their community and be notified when a user posts a Gig in their field of expertise.
Gig Posting:
There is a small 50¢ fee to post a Gig.
